Beds were comfortable, good choice for breakfast although the organisation of same rather chaotic. A signposted one way system might help. Staff friendly and helpful. Location near station was excellent and it was just a short walk to the delightful old town. Plenty of eating out options in the street below and the nearby square.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Large room, which was very comfortable and well featured. Lobby and bar areas were very stylish and well maintained. Only 5 mins from the station and all of the old town within 20 minutes walk. The staff were helpful and took the time to mark key things to see on a map, which was much appreciated as we only had half and afternoon and evening. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A very well located and clean boutique-like hotel. Nice funky feel and the staff were tremendous. Room was small but well appointed. Did not upgrade to the street side so view was of another building as expected. Bed was comfortable although another pillow would have been appreciated. I missed breakfast but the lady in the kitchen took pity on me and let me scrape up the remaining food - scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheese and bread/croissant. Cappuccino machine was available. Because I left early the second night, I was too early for breakfast but the excellent front desk staff let me have a cappuccino and packed me a box of croissants and fruit. Overall a very good boutique hotel with excellent staff in the middle of the action.

The location was perfect just a couple of meters away from the train station so it was very convenient. The room was ok, nothing too extraordinary but to be honest it was a little below to the NH Hotel standards. The gym was amazing very complete, although for me it was weird that they didn't have a treadmill.

This is a modern hotel very conveniently situated a short walk from the station and within easy reach of everything in the centre of Bern. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean, the beds were really comfortable and the shower was powerful. There was a good breakfast buffet and the hotel is very close to a multiplicity of restaurants.

The hotel is very near the station especially if you use the escalator exit which passes under the large square with all the tram lines. It emerges at the end of the road which the hotel is in. It is well positioned for exploring the city. The hotel is welcoming and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a buffet and cooked items available. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. They don't serve meals other than breakfast but have a pleasant bar which was a nice place to end up the day. It is near many restaurants. We found many restaurants were fully booked so try to book ahead if you can.

Perfect location...just a hop,skip and jump from the main Bern bahnhof. The old town is walking distance and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff is welcoming and helpful. There's a lovely restaurant and bar on the ground floor of the hotel. The room was really spacious and had a nice balcony. Everything you need is provided in the room. Wifi is really good. The hotel provided a travel card for local transportation so that was helpful. There's a grocery store right next door. There's a lift so no need to lug your luggage upstairs.

Very comfortable beds; good breakfast; very convenient location. The staff on reception welcomed us and took care of our baggage even though we arrived much earlier than planned.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring Bern. We had 2 rooms, which were across the hall from each other but very different. One room was very nice and big and had a great view. The other was very small, had a view of a wall, and didn't feel that clean. It did the job for our stay though!

The Bristol is a short walk from the train station on a quiet street. We only stayed for only one night on a Saturday night in the early fall (mid September). Although our room faced the street, there wasn't too much street noise. But I can imagine maybe during the warmer months people may be dining outside and there may be more noise. We did not have breakfast at the hotel to save money, but it seemed many people opted for breakfast. If breakfast had been included, we would have tried for sure. There are plenty of cafes and bakeries but beware that most places are closed on Sundays! A comfortable stay for our first night in Switzerland; would happily return and recommend to others.
